About PROJECT BREAKOUT

What is an escape room?

Fun, interactive and challenging, an escape room is a physical adventure game in which players are locked in a room and have to solve a series of puzzles and challenges in order to escape the room or complete the final mission. They last up to 60 minutes and are designed for small group activities.

Brighouse has loads of great places to eat and drink near us too.

How many people
can play?

Each room caters for groups of between 2 to 6 players (up to 8 for Clearsafe), but we regularly welcome larger groups whether it’s a family, friends, stag do, hen do, corporate team building or even for a job interview (true story). Please contact the Project Breakout team to discuss.

Who can play the game?

Games are suitable for all ages.

Almost anyone can play the games although we apologise that we do not currently have any wheelchair access. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a playing adult. Please contact for more information or if you have any further questions.

Any guest suspected of being under the  influence of illegal substances or the heavy influence of alcohol will be not admitted.

How do I book a game?

Please visit our booking page here on this website to book your game. Simply select the date, time and number of players. You’ll be asked to register your details with us to assist with your booking. Then voila!

How do I book a corporate event?

For groups of 2 to 8 please visit our booking page on this website to book your game. Simply select the date, time and number of players. You’ll be asked to register your details with us to assist with your booking. For larger numbers, or for any specific requirements, please contact the Project Breakout team to discuss and we’d be happy to help.

What time should I arrive for my game?

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your booking time so your Breakout Technician can give you a full briefing prior to the game. Please do not arrive late or you may lose some of your playing time.

Due to the nature of the games if you arrive more than 10 minutes late (after your booking time), we reserve the right to reject your booking with no refund.

Can I add extra players?

Yes, as long as you don’t exceed the maximum number of players for the room. Just bring your extra team member/members along and pay the additional cost on the day.

Can I cancel my game?

Due to the fact this is a live game we are unable to process cancellations. We can rearrange bookings if we are given at least 5 days notice, subject to a £7.50 admin charge.

Is it safe?

The escape rooms are completely safe. Each one is a game of puzzles and challenges. You are monitored throughout your game by a member of our team via CCTV and constantly in contact through our microphone system. You’re not left unattended. At no point will any harm come to participants and any physical challenges are kept to a minimum.

How do I find the venue?

Project Breakout is based on the fourth floor at ROKT Climbing Gym, Brighouse, HD6 1EY. Sadly we don’t have disabled access and customers will be required to walk up 4 flights of stairs. Visit the contact page on our website for map and travel information. Free car parking is available at ROKT with extra spaces in the council car park opposite the venue and we are 5 minutes from the rail and bus stations.

Can I take photographs?

No photographs or filming is permitted within the rooms or venue, due to the nature of the games. Photographs of your team will be taken by your Breakout Technician once you’ve finished your game in our designated chill out area and will be available on our website and also our social media.
